From my personal perspective, I believe UI design is quite easy to be automated by AI, since most user interfaces are repeated patterns (login pattern, product list pattern, product detail pattern, etc), but when it comes to UX it becomes much harder, since this is more subjective. Its what happens between those screens, and how they connect together to create a pleasant and efficient experience. I believe that with the raise of AI, when every answer is curated for you in 3 seconds, critical thinking is becoming more important than ever.
